The Story Behind the Product "New You" was developed by Beverly Bevers from Saint Mary's Pennsylvania. Her grandmother, who barely had a wrinkle when she died at the age of 82, taught her as a teenager the importance of exfoliation for beautiful skin. Her theory was that no amount of expensive moisturizing could revive dead skin, and passed her skin care recipes on to Beverly who later began to used them to supplement her income.
In 1980 she went to work in a skin care salon where she learned the different techniques and procedures for facials. She saw various skin types and skin problems that required much more than the average facial could provide. She liked the salon's principle of using papaya enzymes to remove dead skin instead of hazardous acids and chemicals, but sometimes papaya irritated the clients' skin and it was hard to use and very expensive.
Nature Provides
Around this time Aloe Vera had become very popular. Beverly recalled her grandmother saying many years earlier that Aloe was "God's gift to mankind" for health and beauty. Little did she know that this idea had become seed to the development of her dream for a breakthrough product that would be effective as well as safe, unlike anything previously available. Having thus been lead to believe that the key to such a product would be found in Aloe Vera, it was the extreme healing properties of this one in over 2,000 varieties of Aloe she had researched, that lead to the discovery of the thermo-bonding enzyme at the center of the "New You" system.
In 1987 she moved into a popular beauty salon where she experimented with it on all types of skin until it was perfected. By 1989 she had dermatologists using it because they were extremely pleased with the results it achieved.
